Quantum of the Seas

Quantum of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International has pioneered the use of innovation in all aspects of ship design throughout its history – and the Quantum class is no different.

Spanning 18 decks, at 167,800 gross registered tons and a capacity of 4180 guests (double occupancy), this new class is just a bit bigger than our popular Freedom class ships.

Sailing from Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey, Quantum of the Seas will sail a range of 7-night to 12-night itineraries to the Bahamas and the Caribbean during her winter 2014- 2015 season.

Royal Caribbean International has delivered incredible “firsts" at sea for decades such as the Rock Climbing Wall, ice-skating rink, FlowRider surf simulator, Central Park and the AquaTheater – and Quantum of the Seas will reveal many more.

We’re introducing new signature venues that transform from day to night; providing rich experiences that evolve throughout your client’s cruise vacation.

And we’ll debut the next generation of staterooms including the largest staterooms in our fleet (Interior, Ocean View, & Balcony) and new accommodations that give more flexibility to active families, multigenerational families, or groups of friends traveling together.

With the introduction of Quantum of the Seas in Fall 2014 and Anthem of the Seas in Spring 2015, Royal Caribbean takes WOW innovations to new heights with more “Firsts at Sea".

Literally – with the unveiling of North Star, an awe-inspiring experience where a jewel-like glass capsule take guests on a spectacular journey more than 300 feet in the air above sea level, which is comparable to the height of the New York’s Statue of Liberty, to deliver unprecedented 360 degree views.
