Silver Spirit to Visit Hong Kong on 22 March 2011

One of the world’s most luxurious new boutique cruise ships, Silversea’s flagship Silver Spirit which joined the fleet less than 12 months ago, will embark on her maiden voyage to Asia from Australia on 1 March 2011, arriving in Hong Kong on 22 March 2011.

The Silver Spirit sails to Hong Kong as the final port of a 21-day voyage from Sydney having sailed up the East Coast of Australia to Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef with stopovers in Brisbane (4 March), Whitsunday Islands (6 March), Cairns (7 March), Thursday Island (9 March) and Darwin in Australia’s Northern Territory (11 March) before sailing to Bali (14 March), Sandakan, Malaysia (17 March) and Manila (19 March) before finally arriving in Hong Kong. Fares based on double occupancy start from US$10,288 per person.

The Silver Spirit’s maiden outbound voyage from Hong Kong on 22 March heads south on a 12-day voyage to Singapore, priced at US$9,557, with overnight stops in Hanoi (23 March) and Ho Chi Minh (27 March) in Vietnam, and Laem Chabang (30 March) in Thailand, for overnight excursions to nearby Bangkok or Pattaya. In Vietnam, the cruise also visits spectacular Ha Long Bay (25 March), and in Thailand stops for an afternoon in Koh Samui (1 April), arriving Singapore on 3 April.
