Qantas temporarily suspended A380 operations in light of flight QF32 experiencing engine issues on route from Singapore to Sydney. The airline is assisting customers affected by the suspension including arranging hotel accommodation where needed and meals, and are making arrangements to get those affected on flights as soon as possible. There were 440 passengers and 26 crew on board QF32, which returned to Singapore and landed safely after the incident. Qantas has commenced its own investigations into how the incident occurred, which will also be investigated by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau.
