Orion Expedition Cruises has contracted ALMACO to perform an upgrade of public spaces, passenger suites and outdoor areas on the newest addition to their fleet, Orion II. ALMACO has worked with Orion before, completing a refurbishment on sister ship, Noble Caledonia’s Island Sky, in 2010. Selected on their experience with this size and type of vessel, ALMACO is due to commence the refurbishment during a dry dock in April and plans to bring the vessel into the Orion style, refurbishing and upgrading the soft-furnishings across the entire vessel.
