The new international arrivals facility has opened at Miami International Airport in the United States. The modern three level facility is located at the airport’s Termianl D and is twice the size of the previous facility. With 72 passport control lanes that can process 2,000 passengers per hour, the new facility will cut passenger waiting times by an average of 15 minutes per person. Once they have been processed, passengers collect their checked baggage from a new baggage claim area, making for an exciting new and streamlined experience for international travellers in Miami.
