Hilton Launches New Spa Brand in Australia

Hilton Hotels & Resorts has announced the Australian launch of its new global spa brand, ‘eforea: spa at Hilton’. The concept has now opened at Hilton on the Park Melbourne, which will also serve as a training centre through a partnership with Melbourne-based William Angliss Institute. The training centre will provide tuition for therapists using treatments and techniques developed specifically for Hilton.

“Australasia is a key market for us, with three ‘eforea: spa at Hilton’ locations expected to open by the end of July. This unique venture with the William Angliss Institute enables us to ensure the consistent service that our valued guests expect while also supporting the vibrant spa sector in Australia," said Dave Horton, Global Head for Hilton Hotels & Resorts.

The spa at Hilton on the Park Melbourne features six treatment rooms as well as signature eforea ‘arrival’ and ‘transition’ lounges, a fitness centre, pool and thermal pods. It will operate as a commercial spa between Wednesday and Sunday, offering the complete Hilton-designed menu. Every Monday, the spa will be dedicated to training, and on Tuesdays, the spa will be open as a ‘student spa’, with a limited treatment menu available to provide students hands-on experience. These treatments will be available at a reduced rate.

“We’re delighted to be sharing in this exciting new venture with the launch of eforea in Australasia," said Nicholas Hunt, CEO of William Angliss Institute. “The ultimate success of a spa venture depends on its people and this commitment from Hilton, when partnered with more than 70 years of William Angliss Institute educational experience, will see training delivery that ensures a consistent standard of spa operations and service excellence."
