Etihad Airways has been named Best Business Class Lounge by readers of Frequent Business Traveler, an online publication written for and by the world’s most experienced and savvy international travelers.
The GlobeRunner Awards by Frequent Business Traveler recognize the world’s best airlines, hotels chains, automobile manufacturers, car rental agencies, luggage manufacturers, and travel-related websites.
The prestigious title awarded to Etihad Airways recognizes the airline for its exceptional premium lounge experience, defined by exclusive five-star services and innovative offerings. Across its network, Etihad Airways’ premium lounges incorporate signature features, including relaxation spaces, gourmet cuisine and fine dining areas, luxury bathrooms with showers, state-of-the-art business amenities, well-stocked libraries and family rooms where the airline’s Norland-trained Flying Nannies keep Etihad guests’ children happy and entertained.
Geert Boven, Etihad Airways’ Senior Vice President, Americas, accepted the award on behalf of Etihad at a ceremony in New York City from Jonathan Spira, Frequent Business Traveler’s Editorial Director.

Voting was conducted online from March 14 through May 31, 2014 with more than 150,000 votes were cast by readers.
Etihad Airways continues to grow its U.S. presence for air travelers, offering service between Abu Dhabi and Chicago, Los Angeles, New York and Washington, D.C. By the end of 2014, Etihad will offer service to six destinations as the airline adds service to San Francisco on Nov. 18 and Dallas-Fort Worth on Dec.3.
