Emirates is to launch daily flights to Dublin from 09Jan12, marking its first route to the Republic of Ireland. The daily service will leave Dubai at 07:00 and arrive in the Irish capital at 11:30. The return flight leaves Dublin at 12:55 and gets into Dubai at 00:25 the next day.
An Airbus A330-200 will be deployed between Dubai and Dublin, offering First, Business and Economy class.
The Republic is a popular tourist destination and last year received 6.7 million visitors, drawn by the rich ancient history, spectacular countryside, traditional Irish music, thousands of miles of scenic coastline and renowned fresh air.
