Emirates Launches New Flights To Copenhagen

Emirates has launched a new service connecting Dubai with the Copenhagen. The daily direct flights commenced on Monday, when flight EK151 took off from Dubai. On board the inaugural flight were dignitaries including Richard Vaughan, Emirates’ Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations Worldwide, Salem Obaidalla, the airline’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations for Europe & Russian Federation, and Jens Lund, Chairman of the Danish Business Council in Dubai, as well as members of the media.

The Dubai-Copenhagen route, which becomes the airline’s 114th destination, will be served by an Airbus A330-200 in a three-class configuration.

So far in 2011, Emirates has launched new passenger routes to Basra and Geneva. Services to St Petersburg will be launched on 1 November, followed by Baghdad on 13 November.
