Royal Caribbean has released full details of its summer 2012/13 program, featuring the debut in Australia of Voyager of the Seas. The 3840-passenger liner will begin its season on 23Nov12, and operate 12 cruises from Sydney and Fremantle.
Its program includes four 14-night New Zealand cruises, shorter voyages to Tasmania and Fiji and two 18-night cruises between Fremantle and Sydney, taking in southern Australia and Milford Sound in New Zealand.
The maiden season will start and finish with 14-night repositioning cruises between Singapore and Perth with calls in Thailand and Vietnam.
“Voyager of the Seas will not only be the biggest ship based here but she also introduces unique concepts never before experienced at sea in the region,” Royal Caribbean Cruises’ commercial manager Adam Armstrong claimed.
Voyager includes an ice rink and an inline skating track.
Radiance of the Seas and Rhapsody of the Seas both return for the 2012-13 program following multimillion dollar refits.
Radiance of the Seas will operate cruises from Sydney and Fremantle with a 10-night voyage to Tropical Queensland over Christmas and Easter new to its program. Tow five night sampler cruises to Newcastle and Brisbane have also been added.
Rhapsody’s itineraries, meanwhile, include 12 cruises to the South Pacific and four 11-night voyages to Tropical Queensland.
