The sparkling city of Doha offers a waterfront esplanade La Corniche, the perfect location for a walk or jog. One of the city’s most visited icons, claiming the title of Qatar’s national mosque, is the Imam Muhammad Ibn Abd Al Wahhab Mosque. An impressive structure where the architecture reflects classic Islamic traditional homes in Qatar. It is an active place of worship, so ensure you dress appropriately!

Villaggio Mall is an impressive site to add to your tourist activities with its Venetian-inspired canals and gondola rides. Featuring multiple luxury brand shops, restaurants and amusement park!

If spectacular architecture is on your must-see list, then add the Museum of Islamic Art and The Torch Tower to your list. The Torch Tower is also known as Aspire Tower built for the 2006 Asian Games is another impressive sight towering over the city. It is now home to a luxury hotel with the revolving Three Sixty restaurant.

The Pearl is another great spot to venture to on your travels. Built on the former pearl diving site, set on a manmade island of 4km². A modern district with sports, entertainment and shopping venues to explore.

Those in search of some beach time, just a 25-minute boat ride from Doha takes you to Banana Island. An idyllic oasis with white sandy beaches and turquoise waters, laden with pools, kayaks, banana boat rides, watersides and more.

The Doha Golf Club is another great day out for the golf lovers. An 18 hole Championship Course, a 9 hole Academy Course as well as an enormous driving range and putting green, 8 artificial lakes, graceful landscaping and a beautiful clubhouse designed in old traditional Arabic style, which has been located at one of the highest points on the course giving it a magnificent prominence and makes it the perfect place to relax after a round of golf.

For horse enthusiasts, take a look at the Racing & Equestrian Club’s magnificent grounds and luxurious Grandstand making it the location of choice for racing and with events held every Thursday and once a month on Wednesdays from October to May it’s an experience that can’t be missed.
