Cunard Cruise Line has announced a refit for its cruiser the Queen Victoria in January 2015.
The refit will include the installation of nine single staterooms on the ship in addition to carpets being renewed and large flat screen TVs are being installed in all passenger staterooms.
In addition, sun awnings will be added to the open area near the Lido Pool and on both sides of the Grills Upper Terrace area in order to offer more shade.
The refit will take place in Blohm, Germany following the the renovation of the Queen Elizabeth at the same yard.
Cunard director said that Queen Victoria’s make-over would ensure the ship remained in top condition for 2015.
Queen Victoria next departs from its Southampton homeport in January 2015.
