Australia’s Own New-Build Cruise Ship Floats For The Very First Time

Ovation of the SeasOvation of the Seas, the biggest, newest and most technologically advanced ship ever to call Australia home, has been floated out of the construction hall and into water at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.

This major milestone signifies the ship has reached the final stages of construction — marking less than two months to completion and only 10 months until she arrives in Australia.

Ovation of the Seas will sail from Southampton in April down to Beijing via Dubai and Singapore. She will then sail down under for her maiden Australian season, arriving in Sydney on the 15 December.
