Air New Zealand Named Airline Of The Year, the world’s only safety and product rating website, has announced the selection of Air New Zealand as its Airline of the Year for 2015.

Air New Zealand is being honoured for the second consecutive year for its award winning in-flight innovations, record financial performance, operational safety and motivation of its staff that have stamped the airline an industry trendsetter. Editor-in-Chief Geoffrey Thomas said that Air New Zealand won the award quite convincingly.

“Quite simply Air New Zealand is an airline of first choice. And given the airline’s location and the country’s size its performance is even more remarkable.”

Air New Zealand chief executive officer Christopher Luxon, said the airline is thrilled to receive the prestigious accolade two years in a row.

“It’s been an incredibly exciting year for Air New Zealand and this award recognises the outstanding efforts of our 11,000 employees globally. We head into our 75th anniversary year well positioned to continue sustainably growing Air New Zealand,” Mr Luxon said.
