Day 1 – Sydney
Departure:1900
Begin this fantastic voyage of Australia’s East coast in Sydney. Spend the day at your leisure in Sydney visiting the iconic landmarks, including the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the spectacular Blue Mountains or the famous Bondi and Manly beaches before you board the Silver Shadow for a 7pm departure.
Day 2 – Day at Sea
Relax and unwind during your first day at sea. Check out the gym, book a treatment at the spa, do some whale watching, or grab a sun bed and read a book by the pool.
Day 3 – Hobart Tasmania

Hobart is Tasmania’s capital city. A well-loved destination with its tree lined streets and cosy establishments. The coastal town’s heritage sandstone structures host galleries and restaurants, with the famous Salamanca markets offering the perfect chance to see the spoils of the region, from art, to food to wine and spirits. Hobart is an epicentre of culture with the quiet splendour of a small town.
Day 4 – Hobart

Mount Wellington’s looms above the city as you explore booming Hobart. A former British penal colony, nowadays Australia’s second-oldest city is a place to live the free and easy life. Encircled by dramatic cliffs, landscaped gardens and rolling vineyards. With fresh sea breezes and a fabulous location, it’s a fabulous place to dine at waterfront restaurants, or climb Mount Wellington’s and survey the city from the elevated platform. Further away, you can pay a visit to the famous Tasmanian Devil at the surrounding animal sanctuaries. Hobart also has a long brewing tradition – so enjoy a refreshing ale poured from the country’s oldest brewery. The climate’s blend of generous sunshine and cool Antarctic breezes helps Hobart to produce its acclaimed wines from vineyards dotted along the valleys nearby. Whiskey aficionados aren’t left in the cold either, with international award-winning distilleries close by.
Day 5 – Port Arthur

Port Arthur Historic Site is World Heritage listed as it is the best-preserved convict site in Australia, and among the most significant convict era sites worldwide. Take in a behind the scenes history tour or flight and learn about Australia’s convict past. Spend the day at a local winery taking in the picturesque region or jump aboard a wilderness cruise and survey the spectacular coastline between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck in southern Tasmania. Witness the feeding frenzy of diving gannets, albatross and sea eagles wheeling on the wind, cliff-nesting cormorants and peregrine falcons, or a pod of playful dolphins surfing the bow-wave of the boat.
Day 6 – Phillip Island

Phillip island is famous for its tiny inhabitants, the adorable little penguins, but it is also occupied by seals and a variety of sea birds. Stroll along the pristine coastlines and see if you can spot a whale, or cycle around the island. Adventure activities abound, with surfing, speed boat tours, scenic flights and even go-karting. Explore delicious food at the local cafes and discover fresh produce at the source with wineries, breweries and factories offering meats, cheeses and chocolates.
Day 7 – Geelong

At just one-hour south west of Melbourne along the Great Ocean Road is Geelong where urban meets coastal, and the Great Ocean Road begins. The vibrant Geelong Waterfront precinct is the perfect place to chillout, dine, swim, and spot the 1872, steam driven carousel. Take a drive to the renown 12 Apostles emerging from the deep blue sea. Explore and array of cultural attractions like the botanic gardens, museums and wineries, and take a splash in the abundant surf and sand. Only an hour away is the You Yangs National Park and Serendip Sanctuary koala, kangaroo and other wildlife spotting opportunities. This is wine country too, and the city’s surrounding region is known for some of the loveliest tasting wines in Australia.
Day 8 – Melbourne

The vast bowl of Melbourne Cricket Ground serves as the city’s sporting cathedral – squeezing in over 100,000 fans and hosting various sports on its hallowed, oval turf. Whether it’s the rumble of hoofs during the Melbourne Cup, revs of engines during the Formula One, or thwacks of tennis balls during the Australian Open – few places can boast such a comprehensive list of high-profile sporting appeals.
Day 9 – Day at sea

Day 10 – Eden

Day 13 – Brisbane

La Terrazza
On board this luxury cruise ship a divine selection of Italy’s best cuisine is served à la carte in La Terrazza. Authentic recipes and the freshest ingredients come together with flair and passion aboard this luxury cruise — a flavourful expression of Silversea’s distinctive Italian heritage. La Terrazza uses buffalo mozzarella from Naples, organic balsamic vinegar and olive oil from Umbria, and air-dried ham out of Parma. The Emilia-Romagna region also produces Silversea’s 24-month aged Parmigiano Reggiano, while the pasta is made daily right on board.
