After announcing their intentions to join the SkyTeam alliance last September, Virgin Atlantic is now just weeks away from joining the airline group on 2nd March.
Virgin Atlantic’s CEO, Shai Weiss, acknowledges that joining the SkyTeam Alliance will launch several new routes, with customers benefiting from an expanded network and maximised loyalty benefits.
By joining SkyTeam, Virgin will benefit from better connectivity across SkyTeam’s 18 member airlines, enabling members to enjoy perks like access to Skyteam lounges and Sky Priority airport fast-track security lanes, amongst other benefits.
The Virgin/SkyTeam alliance enables Virgin and SkyTeam members to enjoy across-alliance benefits and a seamless customer experience across 1000+ global destinations. Customers will benefit from access to a network of 750+ airport lounges and more opportunities to earn and redeem miles.
