Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has revealed it will launch four new ships across four destinations in the next three years.
The new vessels will sail the Nile in Egypt, the Douro in Portugal, and the Mekong in Vietnam in 2020. Following these will be another new ship on the Volga in Russia come 2021.
The reveal comes on the tail of a series of other ship enhancements carried out by Uniworld including the S.S. Joie de Vivre on the Seine in 2017 and Super Ship transformations of the S.S. Beatrice in 2018, and S.S. Bon Voyage which is set to sail in France in spring 2019.
The four new ships will relieve the present craft currently appointed on each destination whilst maintaining the high standards of comfort, luxury and design that’s in keeping with the liner’s best custom-built Super Ships in Europe.
As if four new ships weren’t enough, the luxury river cruising brand has also announced that it will renovate and update the River Countess to provide customers with the feeling of a floating hotel in Venice.
Ellen Bettridge, president of Uniworld, commented, “We are delighted to bring our unique and elegantly designed one-of-a-kind vessels to the rivers in Egypt, Portugal, Vietnam and Russia for the first time.
“We strive to provide our discerning guests with an unforgettable river cruise experience both on and off shore, therefore we have plans to offer our one-of-a-kind ships on our popular itineraries along the Nile, Douro, Mekong and the Volga.
“With a beautiful upgrade of the River Countess also planned for 2020, our brand is truly innovating and these new developments demonstrates that Uniworld will always be ahead of the competition as the luxury leader in river cruising."
Guests can expect the same high standards on the four new ships that the luxury liner is known for, with more suites, dining options, and well-appointed features as well as Uniworld’s signature touches on board each vessel.
