Surrounded by the natural beauty of an ancient rainforest, The Andaman on Malaysia’s Langkawi Island is a pocket of peace and tranquility overlooking the pristine waters and white sandy beach of Datai Bay.
Designed in traditional Malaysian style, the spacious lowrise resort provides 188 guest rooms and suites with soaring views across the Andaman Sea.
The mystical island of Langkawi is home to The Andaman at Datai Bay. Situated between the majestic Mat Cincang Range and the deep blue Andaman Sea, the RESORT has been built in the middle of a virgin tropical rainforest.
Centuries old trees, many with huge buttress roots and jungle creepers envelope the resort creating a haven far from the bustle of city life.
Accommodation
The Andaman has 188 deluxe rooms and suites. Each is furnished with king or twin beds, minibar, coffee and tea making facilities, writing desk and chair, individually controlled air-conditioning, hairdryer, ceiling fan, in-room safety box and IDD telephone lines. Lanai rooms feature sunning decks with umbrella and are on the first floor.
The Executive Suites, Malaysian Suite and Presidential Suite features king-size beds while the Japanese suite has twin beds. Each suite has one bedroom, a separate living area, spacious balcony and private bar. The Japanese and Malaysia suites are also decorated in authentic style.

The Datai Bay golf course is conveniently located next to the hotel. A championship 18-hole course, it has been carefully landscaped to blend with the natural beauty of the tropical rainforest setting offering a unique golfing experience.
The Spa
The Spa has three villas; two duplex-style Rainforest Villas overlook the Andaman Sea and include: two massage beds on each level, large bathtub, garden shower and relaxation terrace. An additional charge of RM50.00 per hour is applicable for use of the Sari Villa.

Two flood-lit tennis courts, rackets and balls are available on a complimentary basis. A tennis pro is available for lessons. Billiards & Games Room Board games and card games are available for your indoor playing pleasure apart from billiards. A satellite television provides three sports channels as well as a cartoon channel for children.
Babysitting & Play Area
Babysitting services are available for a fee and arrangements must be made with Reception 12 hours in advance. For services after 12 midnight, a surcharge will apply. There is also a children’s playground within the rainforest.

Meeting and Conference Facilities
The Andaman has a ballroom that can cater to a maximum of 800 persons. There are also two main meeting rooms with a maximum capacity of 200 persons each. Moreover, each meeting room is capable of converting into three separate areas catering to a maximum of 60 persons each.
