Cruise Prices Include:
All motor coach and cruise transportation, hotel accommodations, on-tour air (with the exception of Japan by Land and Sea and Norway – Land of the Midnight Sun), sightseeing, shore excursions, admissions, port taxes, services of Tauck Tour Director and driver, and meals.
Gratuities Included:
All appropriate gratuities for bellmen, luggage handling, doormen, dining room servers, local guides and cruise ship staff are included. Please note that gratuities for Tauck Directors are also included on Japan by Land and Sea, Alaska’s Inside Passage, A Week In… The Mediterranean, and the Islands of Southern New England cruises.
Tauck Director
Each cruise is conducted by a Tauck Director who remains with the group throughout the duration. Your Tauck Director is a professional, fully-trained employee of Tauck World Discovery.
No Options Sold
With the exception of select options detailed in each itinerary, Tauck’s price includes entertainment, special dinners, sightseeing and most activities. Tauck Directors may assist with information on other free-time activities, based on honest opinion and guidance, but will not sell you any "extras".
Luggage Handling
Luggage handling is included in the tour cost. However, due to space limitations aboard motor coaches and airlines on certain flights on certain flights, only one average-size piece of luggage per person, with an approximate combined dimension of 106 inches (hieight+width+depth) or the equivalent of 44 lbs., is allowed. In addition, guests are limited to one carry-on bag without wheels, per person, on certain motor coaches and flights. Luggage exceeding these retrictions is at risk of incurring extra fees. Regulations within most airports require that travellers handle their own luggage. Luggage regulations are subject to change.
Not Included:
Transportation to the cruise departure point and from the cruise ending point is not included. Airport and departure taxes are not included.
Intra-tour air on Japan by Land and Sea and Norway – The Land of The Midnight Sun is not included and must be purchased separately; inquire upon booking.
Hotel Rooms before and after cruises
Many guests prefer to make hotel arrangements before their cruise departs. As a service, Travel the World can make reservations for before or after your cruise.
Tauck Director Gratuities
With the exception of the Tauck Director gratuities for Japan by Land and Sea, Alaska’s Inside Passage, A Week In… The Mediterranean, and the Islands of Southern New England, the customary gratuity to the Tauck Director is not included. Such gratuities should be extended on a voluntary, individual basis and not as a group.
Personal Expenses
Phone calls, room service, alcoholic and other beverages, laundry, airline excess luggage charges, visa fees, vaccinations, airport and departure taxes and other optional incidental extras are not included and may be significant.
Luggage Responsibility
Although every effort is made to handle guests’ luggage carefully, Tauck cannot be responsible, assume liability, or accept claims for loss or damage to luggage and personal effects due to breakage, theft, or fair wear and tear through hotel, airline and group carrier handling. It is important for your own self interest and protection that you make certain you have adequate insurance to cover these eventualities.
