Airport (BIA - Colombo) to Weligama"Welcome to the Resplendent Island!" - This is the greeting you will hear from our airport representatives as they warmly welcome you, upon your arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport. They will assist you in getting to your vehicle where you will meet your chauffeur.We then travel to Weligama and check-in to our Coastal cliff-edge resort, Cape Weligama to relax & unwind after your flight. (Travel time: Approximately 2 hours, 45 minutes)Enjoy Tableau, our Signature Chef's Table dining experience during dinner and delight in a culinary journey like no other.

Day 2

Cape Weligama, WeligamaAfter breakfast, you will get your hands on the traditional Sri Lankan craft of mask carving & mask painting that has a rich cultural heritage, led by local artisans with generations of experience.Spend the rest of the morning enjoying the resort and the facilities.This afternoon, we visit Galle to enjoy a hosted walk in the historic Galle Fort. Our host is a local, born and brought up in Galle who will accompany you on a very interesting walk of discovery within this historic fortress and share interesting stories and facts about this heritage site that dates back to the 16th century. This historic fortress has now been restored to it's former glory and you will see many cafes, pubs, boutiques and hotels situated within this living fortress.

Day 3

Weligama to YalaSpend the morning hours enjoying the resort facilities and the Coast.Late morning, we travel to the South-Eastern wilderness and check-in to Wild Coast Tented Lodge to experience luxury in the wild. (Travel time: Approximately 2 hours, 45 minutes)Following a scrumptious lunch, we enjoy an Afternoon Game Drive at the Yala National Park, famous for sightings of the Sri Lankan leopard, Elephant, Sloth bear & many other species of Mammals, birds and reptiles.Upon return from your Game Drive, enjoy sundowners overlooking the magnificent Indian ocean.

Day 4

Wild Coast Tented Lodge, YalaEarly morning, we return to the Yala National Park to experience another exciting Game Drive to witness the animal behaviour as another day dawns in the wild.Return to the lodge and spend the rest of the morning at leisure, enjoying the resort facilities and surroundings and perhaps enjoy a dip in you very own plunge pool.Late morning, you could also immerse yourself in an island culinary journey and learn how to make some of our favourite and most popular Sri Lankan dishes using local spices, followed by lunch.[Optional] At approximately 16.00 hrs, join one of our Wild Coast rangers who will accompany you on an interactive Guided Nature Walk to observe the wildlife around the lodge area. (Optional - Supplement Applies)End your day enjoying sundowners by the Ocean, followed by a Beachside Dinner under the stars with the sound of waves crashing against the shores.

Day 5

Yala to HattonAfter your experience in the South-Eastern wilderness, we check-out and travel to Hatton. (Travel time: Approximately 5.5 to 6 hours)[Optional] Enjoy a 30 minute scenic Chartered air transfer in a float plane from the Weerawila Domestic Airport to the Castlereagh Reservoir, combined with a 45 minute ground transfer from Wild Coast Tented Lodge to Weerawila. (Supplement Applies)Reaching Hatton, we drive to our flagship resort in the hills, Ceylon Tea Trails to experience a Tea Planter's lifestyle. Reaching your planter's bungalow, you will be welcomed by your personal butler who will ensure you will have a memorable experience, along with the best of Sri Lankan hospitality.Spend the rest of the day at leisure, and perhaps enjoy some of our experiences and activities included in your stay such as Bicycle rental to explore the surroundings, marked walking trails, Croquet on the lawn and Afternoon Cream Tea.

HattonAfter a scrumptious breakfast, enjoy our Signature Tea experience. Join a shared experience led by the resident planter, where you will dive into the world of Ceylon Tea.Close to lunchtime, enjoy a short hike to a very scenic location in the estate and indulge in a very unique Planter’s Tiffin Lunch overlooking the tea plantations, and the surrounding nature.Spend the rest of the day enjoying the bungalow and the surroundings. There are many optional experiences you can engage in such as a Private Tea Tasting masterclass and many more (A supplement will apply), or relax at the comfort of your bungalow, and perhaps read a book from our library or enjoy a dip in the pool.Indulge in a special Tea Infused dinner at your bungalow.

Day 7

HattonThis morning, enjoy a Kayaking Adventure on the picturesque Castlereagh reservoir surrounded by lush green mountains.In the afternoon, explore the scenery of Sri Lanka's magical tea country and nature with a half day Guided trail exploration with the company of one of our naturalists.

Day 8

Hatton to Airport (BIA - Colombo)After an exhilarating 8 Night journey, it's time to bid farewell to the "Resplendent" Island.We will arrange a departure vehicle transfer corresponding with your departure flight.
