Day 1 (Madrid – Avila – Salamanca)
Departure from Bus Terminal, San Bernardo, 5-7 at 0800hrs to Avila, Castilian city which preserves its medieval wall. Free time to know the walled city and old quarter and continuation to Salamanca, a wonderful University town with great traditions and a magnificent old quarter. Time at leisure to walk through this monumental city and its famous Plaza Mayor. Dinner and accommodation Hotel Salamanca Plaza 4*.
Day 2 (Salamanca – Coimbra)
Breakfast and departure to Ciudad Rodrigo and the Portuguese border to continue via Guarda towards Coimbra, site of one of the oldest universities in Europe and birthplace of Fado, the music of Portugal. Dinner and accommodation Hotel Dom Luis 3* or Hotel Tryp Coimbra 4*.
Day 3 (Coimbra – Fatima – Lisboa)
Breakfast. Departure to Fatima, destination of catholic pilgrims in Portugal. Free time to visit the Shrine and afterwards continuation to Lisboa, the capital of Portugal located at the mouth of river Tagus. Accommodation Hotel Marques de Sa 3* or Hotel Metropolitan 4*.
Day 4 (Lisboa)
Breakfast. Morning city sightseeing tour of the city. Lisboa's landscape is typified by a central valley called the Baixa, beginning at the river with Pombal's Praça do Comercio, leading north over an orderly grid of avenues for seven short blocks to the Praça Rossio, in the very heart of town. The tour includes the old Alfama Quarter, the Tower of Belem and the Monastery of Los Jeronimos. Afternoon at leisure. Optional tour to Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. Accommodation Hotel Marques de Sa 3* or Hotel Metropolitan 4*.
Day 5 (Lisboa – Merida – Madrid)
Breakfast. Departure for Merida, centre of the Roman province of Lusitania. Lunch and visit of the famous Roman Theatre. Continuation to Madrid. End of services.
