Day 02 Nairobi-Laikipia

An exciting morning as your safari starts with a flight north to the spectacular Laikipia Plateau and the private reserve of Loisaba. With views extending for miles, this special wilderness area is managed together with the local Laikipiak Maasai and Samburu community, helping to preserve the environment (B,L,D).
Loisaba Lodge

Days 03-04 Design Your Day Laikipia

Two days to choose how you would like to explore, with adventure at the top of the list: take a trek through the bush on a camel safari; horse ride through the canyons; mountain bike down the escarpment; raft the Ewaso Nyiro River (seasonal); or take the traditional safari route and a game drive where you may see elephant, lion or the elusive leopard as well as northern endemic species such as Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra and Reticulated Giraffe. A guided safari walk or a night drive, offers a different game viewing perspective. During your stay, A&K recommends spending one night sleeping in the Star Beds – Kiboko and Kioja. Each Star Bed is designed on a raised wooden platform, partially covered with a thatched roof and a bed that can be wheeled onto the open deck for a night sleeping under the stars, an amazing experience! Optional: for something more sedate visit the spa for a massage (B,L,D).
Loisaba Lodge

Day 05 Laikipia-Masai Mara

Fly south to the endless plains of the famous Masai Mara. The wide open spaces lend themselves to game viewing, which is why this reserve is one of the most well regarded for wildlife in all of Africa. Ol Seki Mara Camp is located north of the Mara on a private concession and built on a rocky promontory. Take in the spectacular panoramic views of the savannah from the privacy of your contemporary-styled tent. This afternoon take a game drive in a specially adapted 4WD vehicle. Prepare to be amazed (B,L,D).
Ol Seki Mara Camp

Days 06-07 Design Your Day Masai Mara

The Masai Mara is a photographer’s dream with lion, elephant, buffalo, cheetah and the graceful Maasai giraffe all resident. Choose how best to explore this vast pristine wilderness; take a game drive by open 4WD vehicle; night drives and guided safari walks on the nearby plains; visit an Il Dorobo cave dwelling where a tribesman share tales of hunting and gathering days; see the training of a safari guide with a visit to the Koiyaki Guiding School; or just relax (B,L,D).
Ol Seki Mara Camp

Day 08 Masai Mara-Nairobi
