Day 01 Arrive in Berlin and transfer to your hotel, the 4-star Hotel President, located in the city centre and near the Ku-dam. This evening meet your Tour Manager and fellow tour companions in the hotel for a Welcome drink.

Day 02 A morning sightseeing tour of Berlin includes historic and famous sights as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag (new home of the German Parliament), former Check-Point Charlie, Unter den Linden and the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. The tour ends in Alexanderplatz, in former East Berlin, and you can visit the TV Tower, or the Christmas Markets in front of the Rathaus. Your senses will be thrilled with the sights, aromas and sounds of the Christmas market. This an excellent opportunity to buy some traditional decorations for your tree back home.

Day 03 After breakfast enjoy an excursion to Potsdam and a guided tour of the historic Palace of Sanssouci, built by the emperor Freidrich II. You will also see the New Palace before returning to Berlin, and the Christmas Markets in front of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church. The remainder of the afternoon to explore the shops along Ku-dam..and perhaps the Ka-De-We department store, renowned for it��s gourmet food displays and eateries.

Day 04 Depart south for Dresden, the city that was almost annihilated by Allied bombing during World War II. The Cathedral is being lovingly restored in time to celebrate the city��s upcoming 800 year anniversary. After a guided tour, there is time to visit the Striezelmarkt, one of northern Germany��s most famous and beautiful Christmas Markets. Check-in to your hotel, the 4-star Elbflorenz. Tonight you can explore the taverns and coffee houses in the pedestrian precinct.

Day 05 This morning you travel over the Erzgebirge massif, seperating Germany and the Czech Republic. After check-in to your hotel, the 4-star K+K Fenix only 50 metres from historic Wenceslas Square, there is plenty of time to explore the Christmas Markets in the Old Town.
