Da Lat Palace Hotel, Da Lat

This beautifully restored French colonial hotel has a level of service and professionalism worthy of the great châteaux of France — not to mention a restaurant that could easily command a Michelin star in Europe. The rooms are grand, with cathedral ceilings, wooden floors and claw-foot iron bathtubs.

Ana Mandara, Nha Trang

Ana Mandara means “beautiful home for the guests” and it most certainly is. Set amidst acres of tropical gardens along a gorgeous white sand beach, the Ana Mandara is spectacularly designed and built with local materials and methods to feel like a traditional Vietnamese village. Watch the sun rise over the South China Sea as you sip lotus tea from your villa balcony, or relax by the pool after a day of cycling. And then there’s always the Six Senses spa…

Furama Resort, China Beach

Not only does the Furama boast an infinity pool overlooking spectacular China Beach, it also features superb cuisine and ocean-front suites. During our stay, we enjoy an exclusive seafood barbeque on the beach, as well as Tai Chi lessons at sunrise.

Hotel Saigon Morin, Hue

On the shores of the Perfume River, this four-star hotel is the finest in Hue and the most authentically Vietnamese of our trip.

Sofitel Metropole Hanoi, Hanoi

A gorgeous French colonial-style hotel located in the heart of Hanoi, the Metropole is a hotel with a history. It’s also our base for two nights of our trip. Just before dawn, join us as we step out the front doors to play badminton in the street with locals.
