Itinerary:
Day 1: Wednesday – 15 April Istanbul
Arrive into Istanbul Ataturk Airport where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Thursday – 16 April Istanbul
Sightseeing tour of Istanbul visiting the Hippodrome, the Blue Mosque, St Sophia, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar for some great bargains.

Day 3: Friday – 17 April Istanbul – Ankara – Cappadocia
After breakfast drive to Ankara, where the Mausoleum of Ataturk is located. Continue to Cappadocia for overnight. (B, D)
Day 4: Saturday – 18 April Cappadocia
Tour the region of Cappadocia. See hundreds of strangely shaped pillars, cones and ‘fairy chimneys’. Visit the Goreme open air museum then see the intriguing tall conical cone of Uchisar and the Zelve Valleys.

Day 5: Sunday – 19 April Cappadocia
Today, visit the Underground City of Kaymakli; used by Christians in the 7th century as a place of retreat from invaders.

Day 6: Monday – 20 April Cappadocia – Pamukkale
After breakfast depart Cappadocia for Pamukkale to view the lime cascade natural springs.

Day 7: Tuesday – 21 April Pamukkale – Kusadasi
Visit Pamukkale and the impressive site of Aphrodisias, before continuing onto Kusadasi.

Day 8: Wednesday – 22 April Kusadasi
After breakfast, drive to Ephesus to view the Library of Celsus. Walk through the House of the Virgin Mary, situated above the ruins at Selcuk.

Day 9: Thursday – 23 April Kusadasi – Canakkale
Depart Kusadasi for Pergamum. Visit Bergama, to view the Acropolis, the Temple of Athena and the famous Library and ruins of Asklepion. Stop at Homer’s Troy to view the ruins. Evening presentation by leading war historian, Brad Manera and Kenan Celik.

Day 10: Friday – 24 April Gallipoli
Tour of Gallipoli including Kabatepe Museum, ANZAC Cove, Lone Pine Cemetery and New Zealand Memorial.
Overnight at ANZAC Commemorative Site, Gallipoli. (B, D)
Day 11: Saturday – 25 April Gallipoli (ANZAC Day) – Istanbul
Dawn service at North Beach followed by the Lone Pine Service.
Return to Istanbul for overnight. (B)
Day 12: Sunday – 26 April Istanbul
