DAY 1- HOME PORT – VANCOUVER (D)
Join flight to Vancouver. Tonight meet your Scenic Tours Tour Director and travelling companions for a ‘Welcome to Canada’ reception and dinner.

DAY 2- CAPILANO SUSPENSION WALK & BRIDGE NATURE WALK (B)
Exclusive to Scenic Tours, an early morning exclusive guided natuire walk through the rainforest at Capilano Suspension Bridge.  Later enjoy a sightseeing tour of Vancouver.  The remainder of the day is yours to explore.

DAY 3- THE ROCKY MOUNTAINEER – KAMLOOPS (BLD)
Early morning transfer to the railroad station for 2 days enjoying ‘the Most Spectacular Train Trip in the World.’ Relax in your guaranteed GoldLeaf carriage. Enter the fertile Fraser Valley towards the township of Kamloops. Tonight, perhaps enjoy dinner and a show at Two River Junction or Lumberjack Show (Optional Dinner-Show at own expense).
Overnight: Kamloops Hotel (as assigned by Rocky Mountaineer).

DAY 4- THE ROCKY MOUNTAINEER – JASPER (BL)
Transfer back to Kamloops station and continue your journey eastward into the spectacular Rocky Mountains. This evening arrive in Jasper. SCENIC FreeChoice Dining.

DAY 5- ICEFIELDS PARKWAY – GLACIER ‘ICE EXPLORER’ (BD)
This morning enjoy a guided walk down the stunning Maligne canyon before continuing south along the Icefields Parkway, acclaimed as one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. Board the ‘Ice Explorer’ onto the mighty Athabasca Glacier. SCENIC FreeChoice Dining.

DAY 6- LAKE LOUISE – EMERALD LAKE – BANFF (BD)
Enjoy a relaxing morning before visiting Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge. On arrival in Banff enjoy a sightseeing tour. SCENIC FreeChoice Dining.

DAY 7- BANFF (B)
Today you are free to choose one SCENIC FreeChoice activity, included in the tour at no extra cost. SCENIC FreeChoice Inclusions. Choose from (1) Guided Nature Hike with an expert naturalist; or (2) 9 Holes of Golf at Banff Springs Hotel; or (3) A gondola ride to the top Sulphur Mountain; or (4) A float trip on the Bow River; or (5) Horse riding along the Bow River.

DAY 8- GLACIER NATIONAL PARK – SUN PEAKS (BD)
Cross into Yoho National Park as we begin our descent from the Canadian Rockies. Re-entering British Columbia, we travel through Glacier National Park and Mt Revelstoke National Park before arriving in the resort village of Sun Peaks. This evening enjoy dinner and a historic look into the area.

DAY 9- HAT CREEK RANCH – WHISTLER (BD)
Visit Historic Hat Creek Ranch and then pass through the towns of Cache Creek and Lillooet. Arrive this afternoon at the charming alpine resort of Whistler. SCENIC FreeChoice Dining. DAY 10- CHEAKAMUS CANYON – HOWE SOUND – VICTORIA (B)
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before travelling south along the Howe Sound. Board a ferry to travel through the Georgia Strait to Victoria.

DAY 11- VICTORIA – BUTCHART GARDENS (BD)
This morning visit the world-famous Butchart Gardens and enjoy 22 hectares of wonderful floral displays.

DAY 12- VICTORIA – ANCHORAGE (B)
This morning board your flight to Anchorage, Alaska (*Flight not included in Ground Content Only price, please book flight to arrive before 6.00pm). On arrival you will be met and assisted with a transfer to your hotel.

DAY 13- MCKINLEY EXPLORER – DENALI NATIONAL PARK (B)
Board a full-dome railcar of the ‘McKinley Explorer’ train. Weather permitting, you’ll catch glimpses of spectacular Mt. McKinley. Arrive at Denali National Park, 6 million acres of countless spectacular mountains.
Two Night Stay: McKinley Chalet Resort (or similar).

DAY 14- DENALI NATIONAL PARK (B)
SCENIC FreeChoice Inclusions. Choose from (1) Comprehensive Tundra Wilderness Tour or (2) Natural History Tour of Denali National Park or (3) Rafting down the Nenana River or (4) Visit the homestead of Jeff King, three time Itidarod champion and meet his champion sled dogs.

DAY 15- DENALI – FAIRBANKS (B)
This morning perhaps enjoy an optional activity such as a Helicopter Glacier Flight (Optional activities at own expense) before continuing to Fairbanks, Alaska’s second largest city.
Overnight Stay: The Westmark Hotel, Fairbanks or similar.

DAY 16- FAIRBANKS – RIVER CRUISE – TOK (BD)
Board the sternwheeler “Discovery III” for a morning cruise down the Chena and Tanana Rivers. Stop at a replica Athabascan native village to learn about the early inhabitants of this region and enjoy a dogsled demonstration. This afternoon travel towards the small settlement of Tok.
Overnight stay: The Westmark Inn, Tok or similar.

DAY 17- YUKON RIVER CRUISE – EAGLE (BLD)
Depart from Tok and travel along the Taylor Highway to the small settlement of Eagle. After a short tour of Eagle, board the cruise vessel ‘Yukon Queen II’ and spend the afternoon cruising up the fascinating Yukon River to Dawson City.

DAY 18- DAWSON CITY (B)

DAY 19- FRANTIC FOLLIES VAUDEVILLE REVUE – WHITEHORSE (BLD)
Travel the Klondike Highway, through Canada’s Yukon Territory. Enjoy views of Lake Laberge before stopping at Minto before arriving in Whitehorse. Tonight enjoy an evening performance of the Frantic Follies Vaudeville Revue show.

DAY 20- WHITE PASS & YUKON RAILROAD – SKAGWAY (BL)
Enjoy a tour of Whitehorse, including a visit to the sternwheeler riverboat s.s. Klondike. A buffet lunch is provided at your hotel before you board your coach to travel along the Klondike Highway. Board the historic White Pass & Yukon Railroad to travel down one of the world’s most scenic mountain railways. Pass through Tunnel Mountain and over the yawning chasm of Glacier Gorge as you see the remarkable route taken by the early gold seekers.

DAY 21- SKAGWAY – ALASKAN CRUISE (BLD)
Late morning transfer from your hotel to your Holland America Line cruise ship. Lunch and dinner are provided onboard the ship, with the day free either for more time in Skagway or to get to know your ship. Sail from Skagway late this evening.

DAY 22- MAGNIFICENT GLACIER BAY (BLD)
Your ship cruises the iceberg-strewn waters of Glacier Bay National Park today. See views of tidewater glaciers and the snow-capped peaks of the St. Elias, where only 200 years ago the islands and shorelines were completely covered in ice!

DAY 23- KETCHIKAN (BLD)
Visit fascinating Ketchikan, Alaska’s first city today. Take the opportunity to visit Totem Bight State Park and walk through the forest to a replica of a Tlingit Indian Village. (Shore excursions are at own expense).

DAY 24- CRUISING THE INSIDE PASSAGE (BLD)
A relaxing day as you travel south through the Inside Passage, shaped by glaciers millions of years ago and now a web of quiet fjords and peaceful islands.

DAY 25- VANCOUVER (B)
Disembark and Farewell your Scenic Tours representative. Transfer to Vancouver Airport to board your homeward flight. (Passengers purchasing Ground Content Only – Please do not book departure flight before 1.00pm)

DAY 26- CROSS INTERNATIONAL DATELINE
In flight, cross the international dateline.

DAY 27- ARRIVE HOME PORT
