Your Journey starts Saigon, ends Hanoi

Days 1–2 – Saigon Arrive in Vietnam’s most exciting destination, Saigon. A walking tour to the most iconic sights in District One will acquaint you with the Opera House, the Hotel de Ville, and Dong Khoi Street. Leave the big city bustle behind when you visit the Cu Chi Tunnels to learn about the tenacity and resilience of the Vietnamese.

Day 3 – Buon Ma Thuot Fly to Buon Ma Thuot in the Central Highlands where you will visit a minority village, called Buon Don, on the banks of the Serepok River and relax by the waterfalls. Check out Khai Doan Pagoda as well.

Days 4–5 – Pleiku & Kontum You will love getting to know the hilltribe people and customs in this stunning part of Central Vietnam. Staying in this rural area is a real journey highlight. Take a day-trip to Dray Sap Falls and continue on to Pleiku. Bien Ho Lake and Plei Phun Village await. From your base of Kontum you will get to experience Play To Nghia Village, as well as an ambient church and seminary.

Days 6–8 – Hoi An Soak up Hoi An’s unique ambience and enjoy the Old Town’s cultural sites. Mix with the locals and become a ‘Hoi An farmer for a day.’ This ancient trading port is unique in that the town reflects Dutch, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese cultures and today is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site. The beach is just a few kilometres away, so there is truly something for everyone in Hoi An.

Days 9–10 – Hue After discovering Bach Ma National Park, a cyclo ride through the quiet streets of Vietnam’s former imperial capital and the Citadel will bring you to the extensive tomb network of Emperor Minh Mang. As the seat of power for the Nguyen Dynasty, Vietnam’s last feudal rulers, Hue is a cultural capital of the country.

Days 11–12 – Phong Nha Caves, Vinh & Ninh Binh Journey along the Ho Chi Minh Trail to the birthplace of ‘Uncle Ho,’ the father of modern-day Vietnam. After Hoang Tru, continue to Ninh Binh and experience the famed beauty of Tam Coc’s caves by boat.

Days 13–16 – Halong Bay & Hanoi An overnight boat on Halong Bay provides stunning views of the mountains and water, a truly magical experience. Hanoi’s historic and cultural treasures await, and you will get to know the capital’s sights, including historic Ba Dinh Square, the Temple of Literature and the infamous ‘Hanoi Hilton.’ Depart on day 16.
