Day 01 Australia/Beijing

Today, we fly on Air China flight to Beijing the Capital City of the Peoples Republic of China. Upon arrival, you're met and greeted by our guide and transferred to your Hotel.

Fri. 01 August, 2008

Day 02 Beijing

This morning you will visit the Tian'anmen Square, the biggest public square in the world and Forbidden City, the vast complex of palaces, which was home to successive Emperors for more than 500 years. Included is admission to the living quarters, museum and jewelry sections. In the afternoon enjoy a pedi-cab tour of Hutong, the 'old city' neighbourhoods of narrow alleyways and courtyard gardens, visit to Prince Gong's Palace and the Drum Tower. A welcome banquet will be held at imperial restaurant, Fangshan Restaurant in Beihai Park. (B/L/D)

Day 03 Beijing

Morning visit to the Summer Palace, the largest and the best preserved of all imperial palace gardens, which boasts such delights as the famous Marble Boat and the ornately painted 'Long Corridor', and take a boat ride on its Lake Kunming. After lunch, the Temple of Heaven, the 500-year-old Temple houses altars on which sacrifices and offerings were laid to the gods in a glorious setting of gardens, trees and sculptures. After dinner, enjoy an unforgettable night with the amazing Beijing Acrobatic show. (B/L/D)

Day 04 Beijing

Morning visit to the Great Wall, stretching almost 4,000 miles from the Pacific Ocean to the sands of Central Asia and befittingly crowned one of the ten wonders of the world. After lunch stroll along the Sacred Way to the Ming Tombs and visit to Ding Ling underground palace, one of the final resting-places for the 13th Emperors of the Ming Dynasty. A traditional Beijing Duck banquet for Farewell dinner in the evening. (B/L/D)

Day 05 Beijing/Xian

After breakfast, free at leisure to explore the city at your own pace before your afternoon transfer to Beijing Rail Station for your overnight train journey to Xian. (B/L/D)

Day 06 Xian

Arrive early morning in Xian, once was the Imperial City of China. Here you will be met and transferred to your hotel and rest up. Evening enjoy a Tang Dynasty Dinner Show. (B/L/D)

Wed. 06 August, 2008

Day 07 Xian

Today you will visit and see the archaeological find of the century! , The 2000 year old Terracotta Warriors & Horses who was interred with China's first Emperor Qin Shi Huang who united the whole of China. Followed by a visit to Huaqing Hot Spring and the 6000 year old Banpo Museum. (B/L/D)

Day 08 Xian/Beijing

Morning visit the Bell Tower and Old City Wall. Afternoon transfer to Xian Airport for your flight back to Beijing. Met and transferred to your hotel. (B/L/D)
