I flew with Singapore Airlines in First Class on my recent holiday to Europe and was delighted with my experience as always. From the moment I walked onboard the 777-300 aircraft the excellent service that started in the airport flowed perfectly all the way to my seat.
The seat is probably the biggest in the sky which almost fits two slim persons! Even on these older planes the seats are truly exceptional and upholstered in the finest grade leather with rich mahogany trimmings. ( I later on took another 777er flight from Singapore to Shanghai on a newer aircraft with more fresh modern interior)
While I didn’t put the seat down into a bed straight away I did change into the comfortable and warm pyjamas that were provided, just to get ready. In the meantime, I was able to look through the complimentary amenities which included a bottle of Ferragamo perfume.
Not long afterwards food began to arrive, starting with a selection of fresh fruit served as an appetiser. After that I enjoyed an exquisite seafood meal and a sumptuous desert. After eating, it finally came time to put back my seat into a full flat bed and relax. Complete with linen, duvet and pillows this bed was a great way to relax in style.
The service on-board throughout the whole flight from start to finish was execellent as usual.
