With their first Airbus A380 now fully fitted out with their premium interior cabin products, Malaysia Airlines is set to become the eighth airline to operate flights on an A380. The new aircraft has now returned from Hamburg to the Airbus factory in Toulouse for final system checks prior to delivery at the end of the month.
The new aircraft and will commence services between Kuala Lumpur and London on 01Jul12. The national carrier has ordered six A380s and will operate the aircraft in a three-class layout seating a total of 494 passengers. The MAS A380 fleet will be powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 900 engines.
