Lufthansa has been upgraded to an elite group of airlines that have achieved a 5-Star rating from Skytrax after meeting its world-class standards with the introduction of personal assistants for First Class Passengers at Hong Kong Airport.
Personal assistants ensure that First Class guests get all of the necessary support on the ground with services such as accompanying the traveller between different areas of the airport, including security and passport control and baggage reclaim, and also giving the opportunity to meet the crew before other passengers board (upon request).
“Following the introduction of our new and multiple award winning First Class cabin on board of our long haul aircraft, we are now very happy to be able to offer our First Class guests a new service on the ground,” Lufthansa German Airlines vice president Asia/Pacific Steffen Harbarth said.
New services have also been introduced to Shanghai Pudong, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo Narita and Ho Chi Minh City airports, in an effort to improve First Class passengers experience throughout the entirety of their journey.
