The rooms are laid out in small clusters that afford privacy for couples, and convenience for families or small groups wishing to stay near one another. Each cluster unfolds onto a courtyard crowned with a traditional fountain and framed by natural canopies abundant with native flowers.

Guests can choose between the spacious villas with private pools, the tents, which are unique amongst luxury hotels in Jaipur, or the comfortable rooms, which offer refreshing garden views and feature sunken marble bathtubs.

Spread over thirty-two acres, the rooms can be reached on foot or in a golf buggy. Should guests wish to walk, pathways are well sign posted and fitted with telephones that connect to reception.

Located just a fifteen-minute drive away from the city centre of Jaipur, The Oberoi Rajvilas is the perfect base from which to explore one of India’s most exotic and vibrant cities. This idyllic retreat that evokes princely Rajasthan with luxury villas and royal tents in a fort setting is situated on 32 acres of lush gardens, flowering trees and cascading fountains. The hotel offers 54 Premier Rooms, 13 Luxury Tents, one Royal Tent, two Luxury Villas with Private Pools and the Kohinoor Villa with a Private Pool.

A 280-year-old Shiva temple and a Rajasthani haveli (mansion) on the premises of the hotel have been carefully restored. Extensively renovated and restored, the haveli serves as the Oberoi Spa that offers holistic, Ayurvedic and Western therapies for beauty and relaxation.

The Oberoi Rajvilas is built in a traditional Rajasthani fort style. Old armory that is majestically mounted on the walls is a source of constant fascination for guests. The master artist, Mr. Ghanshem Nimbark, painted the beautiful gold leaf hand painted wall murals and colourful Indian miniature paintings throughout the fort. Original paintings by renowned Indian artist, Mr. Parikh Maity are also part of the Modern art collection.
