Situated in a private bay, the Te Tiare Beach Resort is reached by a 35 minute flight from Tahiti’s Faa’a International airport. Visible from Raiatea, Taha’a and Bora Bora, Huahine is composed of two volcanic islands – Huahine Nui & Huahine Iti, which are joined together by a bridge at a narrow isthmus.
Touring the island, you will begin to discover Huahine’s magnificent variety of exotic plants. Vanilla, noni fruit, watermelon and taro plantations abound, while breadfruit, mango, banana and papaya groves may be found throughout the island. You may pass a local fisherman selling his daily catch along the road. Be sure to experience the local farmer’s market in the village of Fare.
