Central to the estate is the 16th century Finca – or manor house – which has lovingly been developed into a brand-new, intimate luxury hotel. It joins the existing three villas, Sa Punta de S’Aguila, Son Balagueret and Sa Terra Rotja on the 1,300-acre Son Bunyola estate.
Honouring the heritage of this historic building dating back to the 1500s has been central to the restoration project with traditional and local materials at the core of the hotel’s design. Every detail has been carefully thought about and proudly retains all the original features, which are fundamental to the history of the local area.
The original towers in the main house have been transformed into two Tower Suites showcasing vineyard views and the mountains beyond, the former olive press has become one of two restaurants and the historic terrace is home to the pool.

About Son Bunyola Hotel
Home to 26 beautifully designed rooms and suites, all with their own unique character, charm and soaring views, the Hotel also features two striking Tower Suites – one of which was originally built in the 13th century. Some suites even boast 360-degree sea and mountain views. When it comes to food at the Hotel think authentic Mallorcan dishes. Head Chef Samuel favours a farm to fork ethos and much of the produce served in the two restaurants is grown in the estate’s gardens and orchards. Sa Terrassa, the Hotel’s main restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, offers dishes using local and seasonal ingredients. Sa Tafona, housed within the historic olive press, will offer guests a playful take on tapas in the evenings.
The stunning location of Son Bunyola makes for the perfect place to unwind with a dip in the pool, or a spot of yoga and tennis, all whilst enjoying the awe-inspiring views – but the mountainous landscape is also ideal for hiking. There are some creative and culinary experiences for you to get stuck in too, or how about venturing further afield to the Mallorcan beaches and setting sail on the tranquil Mediterranean waters.
