The new five-star Peppers Broadbeach will open its doors to visitors in November. It will be fully operational in March 2011, and will offer curbside check-ins and iPads for guest use. There will also be retro scooters on hand as well as custom-made surfboards so guests can enjoy all the benefits of the Gold Coast. The restaurants, bars and room service will be available in March 2011. Metropolitan with a relaxed vibe, the 505-room hotel will feature Zen gardens, tai chi lawns, private cinemas, teppanyaki barbeques, steam rooms, saunas and pools. The apartments will have a pillow menu, gourmet minibar and a pre-order gourmet pantry delivery service.
