Accommodating just 28 people, Orpheus is an all-inclusive, private island lodge, located in the Great Barrier Reef. With only 14 rooms, suites and villas, Orpheus Island is the ultimate in secluded, unspoilt tropical paradise.
The island comprises more than 1,000 hectares of national park and is surrounded by pristine fringing reef you can access simply by stepping out from your accommodation. The Lodge features an alfresco-style dining area, a day spa and an infinity pool that mirrors the Coral Sea.
All stays at Orpheus Island Lodge include three gourmet meals, use of water sports equipment, a selection of wines, beers, spirits, soft beverages, and a daily Orpheus experience.

- Package T&C's - Travel between now and 31 March 2022. Minimum length of stay 4 nights. From $5,760 for two guests (North Beachfront Room). Orpheus Experience package cannot be booked from 18th December 2021 to 3rd January 2022 inclusive when Easter & Festive Season rates are in place.
- Travel between 1 April 2022 – 31 March 2023. Minimum length of stay 4 nights. From $6,300 for two guests (North Beachfront Room). Orpheus Experience package cannot be booked from 14th April to19th April 2022 and 19th December 2022 to 6th January 2023 inclusive, when Easter & Festive Season rates are in place.

With a strong focus on sustainability, the island’s veggie patch provides the chefs with a constant supply of fresh produce and resident chickens lay fresh free-range eggs for guest meals. Location & How To Get There
GETTING TO ORPHEUS
Access to Orpheus is via a 30 minute helicopter journey from Townsville over the picturesque coral-studded sea.
ONE DAILY SCHEDULED FLIGHT EX TOWNSVILLE:
Townsville Airport to Orpheus – departing 2pm, arriving 2.30pm
Orpheus to Townsville Airport – departing 2.30pm, arriving 3pm
Up until 31 March 2022 – $350 per person (one way)
From 1 April 2022 – $400 per person (one way)
There will be no charge for infants under three years of age when seated on the lap of an adult passenger. Children aged 3+ years will be charged at the ‘per person’ rate as for safety reasons they require their own seat.
PRIVATE HELICOPTER CHARTER EX TOWNSVILLE
If the daily scheduled flight is fully booked on your preferred dates of travel, or if the scheduled timings do not coincide with your itinerary, a private helicopter charter may be arranged at an additional cost (subject to availability):
