Accommodation
Envisioned by Italian owners, Navutu Stars Resort is a cosy boutique Resort hidden away on a secluded bay on the peaceful island of Yaqeta, in the magnificent volcanic archipelago of Yasawa.
The idea of the Resort and its philosophy come from the owner’s desire to escape the hectic and modern living of a city like London, in favour of a south pacific barefoot paradise, where the rhythm of life is not dictated by any external factors, but purely by nature itslef. A place where your mind and body can nourish themselves, where excellent dining is a priority, where your body indulges in a fusion of the ancient traditions of the art of beauty and massage, and where of course you can enjoy one of the most stuning landscapes of the world.
All of this is complemented by the renowned hospitality of the Fijian people and by the warmth and welcoming personality of their well trained local staff, always under the watchful eyes of the two young owners. At Navutu, they are committed to allow each of their guests to deeply experience this ecosytem in the most spontaneous and natural way, that’s why at Navutu nothing is compulsory except your wellbeing.
Ideal for a romantic escape, a week of diving or for a simple break under the pacific sunshine; if you are after an idyllic holiday on an enchanted island, sleeping under a blanket of hundred thousands star, lulled by the trade winds in the palm trees, then Navutu Stars is the place for you.
Accommodation
Navutu Stars’ guests are lodged in one of our nine individually crafted thatched roof bure, nestled along three bays, secluded in the lush tropical vegetation and swaying palms, creating a sense of unique privacy and an exclusive and timeless atmosphere.
The Bures are open plan, spacious and full of light, with a full wall of French doors opening on the decked verandah, which boasts spectacular views of the bay. In your 70 square metres of unlimited comfort, where the interiors are created with a fusion of Asian-Mediterranean-Fijian style and furnished with Southeast Asian objects d’art and fabrics, you will find a open living room with wet bar, CD players with a collection of relaxing music and a selcetion of books; obviously, according to the owners philosophy, televisions and telephones are a big no-no! Room service is, nevertheless, available through a two-way radio system.
All Bures feature bathrooms with double stone vanities and shower, the finest linens, and outdoor day beds where one can indulge in lazy naps under the stars.
Grand Bure
In the two Grand Bures, the living area is ulteriorly embellished, and its comforting atmosphere enhanced, by an oversized soaking tub, facing the crystalline blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Daily changes of flowers, incense, aromatherapy candles and baskets of fruits are all part of Navutu Stars’ treat.
The Bure accommodates two people, an extra bed for a third party can be arranged upon request, kids under 16 only welcome during special periods.
The Spa
Enhance the rejuvenating mental and physical benefits of your stay in Navutu Stars by indulging in our wide range of specifically crafted treatments, conceived to meet the unique needs of their guests. They believe Navutu to be a complete Spa, for body, mind and soul: begin your day by breathing the clear and clean air of an unspoilt paradise, be pampered by the hands of our experienced masseurs and harmonise your body with the ancient Yoga discipline.
The spa offers a selection of treatments from native ingredients, such as algae, coconut oil and local clays, blended with certifiied organic products from a Byron Bay farm for the ultimate of nourishments.
The Restaurant
Navutu Stars cuisine gives total freedom to choose according to your personal tastes and preferences. All meals are, hence, a la carte, offering a variety of dishes, mostly seafood based: our cuisine uses the best of the local ingredients, mixed with traditionally Italian delicacies, giving our kitchen a strong Italian flavour. Abundance of freshly caught lobsters, crabs or tunas and deliciously tender beef, together with freshly grown organic seasonal vegetables, will be always on your ever changing menus. Our cantine provides an accurate selection from the vineyards for the New and Old World to ennouble our dishes.
A Verandah under the stars, lit by lanterns and candles, a simple table set on the beach of your own terrace will be the idyllic setting for your dining experience. Sumptuous breakfasts of crossiants, cakes and fresh fruit platters and juices will be exclusively served and enjoyed on your private living area or under the canopy of your terrace.
Lunch locations on the other hand, are completely at your discretion, so why not slip away on a deserted island for a grilled lobster pick-nick? Alternatively, simply enjoy a sashimi in their sunset bar, a place for a quick bite, where chill out sofas, all day lounge music and yummy tropical cocktails will take you through your stay in complete delight.
Weekly “barefoot" dinner parties are hosted by the owners on the main Verandah, an occassion to meet your fellow guests and enjoy the traditional Fijian Lovo, a feast of meat and fish cooked over burning stones underground.
