It is situated in rue des Francs Bourgeois, right at the heart of the Marais, and a few steps away from the stunning Place des Vosges. The rue des Francs Bourgois is the Marais’ most renowned shopping street, with many beautiful boutiques, galleries, cafés and restaurants. Also close by are the Picasso and Carnavalet Museums and the Pompidou Centre. Also within an easy walk is the Ile St. Louis, Ile de la Cité and the Louvre.
Entrance is into a large living room, a haven of peace and quiet, with original stone walls and pale marble floor. The sitting area is on a slightly higher level, with views over the garden, while the dining area is a few steps down. Just off the living room is a cosy TV room with widescreen cable TV and DVD player. A marble staircase leads to a mezzanine level overlooking the living room and the first floor rooms lead off from here. A separate office area at this level has high speed internet access. The apartment also has a washing machine and ironing facilities. Outside is a private garden, a rarity in central Paris, with table and chairs for outdoor dining and a hammock. Entrance to the building is by security code. For groups of up to 8 people, this apartment can be rented with the Marais Loft apartment, which is on the lower ground floor of the same building. The owners have requested that no children under the age of 16 years stay at the property. |
