Accommodation
The Kingsford Homestead is home to 7 of the most luxurious suites within the Barossa Valley, of which cater up to a total of 14 guests for a bed & breakfast or exclusive-use package.
Five of these suites are located on the very upper storey of the property, with a single suite on the ground floor and the Stonemason’s Cottage adjacent to the homestead.
Each of the 7 suites are styled slightly different, however there are comforts and luxuries common to all:
- a large comfortable bed with fine linen
- a choice of pillows (duck feather, latex and microfiber)
- L’Occitane en Provence bathroom amenities
- a flat-screen TV with all digital channels
- free wireless internet access
- and music station with iPod and USB connectivity.
All of the opulent suites are also equipped with a mini fridge, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, torch and safe.

This luxury Barossa Valley accommodation caters up to 14 guests at one time. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the hosts Cassie Ferret & Kyran Gardner, who are instantly ready help you enjoy the absolute best of this incredible 5-star hotel, as well as the surrounding Barossa Valley as well.
Location
The Kingsford Homestead is situated on the North Para, at the western edge of the famous wine country- Barossa Valley. From here, it is a short 10 minutes travel to the world renowned Peter Lehmann, Rockford, Penfolds and Yalumba wineries. The wineries of Clare Valley are also a respectable 30 minutes north of the 5-star property.
Surrounded by 225 acres of stunning South Australian countryside, you will feel a million miles from city living. However, thanks to a brand new freeway the Homestead is just 45 minutes drive north from Adelaide International Airport.
If you have come from interstate or overseas, Kingsford Homestead will be delighted to arrange pick-up or drop-off, although hire cars and taxi services are available at the airport.
The accommodation also uses the airfield at Gawler for those arriving by charter aircraft (courtesy transfers are provided); guests arriving by helicopter can use the Kingsford helipad.
Kingsford Homestead Facilities
Pool
Relaxing next to the pool on a warm summer’s day is the ideal spot for guests to spend a lazy afternoon. Dive into the cool depths after a day of Barossa exploring, or stretch out on one of the loungers and read your book. Enjoy a cold drink while soaking up the Australian sunshine and the sweeping countryside views that surround you.
Veranda
There are verandas to the East and South of the property, both enjoying sweeping views of lily-filled gullies and grassy knolls sure to stir the soul.
The spaces can be configured for dining, but during the day, seating is available for those who just wish to read, enjoy a glass of something or while away the hours.
Shearing Sheds
The Homestead’s historic shearing sheds lie to the west and you’re invited to explore them while wandering the property.
Cellar

Lounge & Library
The Lounge and Library are home to large comfortable sofas, open fires and an LCD TV making these areas great spaces to relax and socialise after an enjoyable day out.

The Homestead’s spacious dining room offers unparalleled views of the rolling hills – a place for deep conversations, fine wine with friends and family and quiet reflection. Here, you will awake to a hearty regional Barossa breakfast and the peaceful tranquillity that the Kingsford Homestead has to offer.
