This truly unique hotel awaits you right on Madrid’s famous “Golden Mile”. It is housed in a 19th-century palace which was transformed into this luxurious 44-room boutique hotel in 2011. Its elegant façade conceals a regal interior architecture with modern rooms that boast high ceilings and large windows.
Inside you’ll find the famous restaurant Ramon Freixa Madrid, which has quickly become a “must” in the city, having been awarded 2 Michelin stars and named “Best Restaurant in Madrid” at the prestigious Madrid Fusión event. Ramon Freixa also orchestrates Único’s superb signature breakfasts.
The hotel also has several salons overlooking the garden or Calle Claudio Coello which beckon guests to take a break from the lure of expeditions in Madrid’s foremost shopping district.
A modern fitness centre and an extensive range of massages in The Wellness Suite round out the splendid offer of what, despite the apparent cliché, is a true urban oasis. The hotel also has a large guest car park.

The hotel offers 44 rooms and suites, with 7 different types. A controlled lighting system and a comfortable atmosphere create contemporary, timeless and sophisticated urban spaces. Customers can choose from seven types of rooms: Único King, Único King Exterior, Único King Garden, Deluxe, Deluxe King Garden, Junior Suite and Grand Suite; in which the same quality service is maintained, but which vary in size and their different city views.
Ramón Freixa Madrid 2 Michelin Star Restaurant
In the garden, accessed through a glass cube, is the entrance to the restaurant Ramón Freixa, for which the chef was awarded two Michelin stars, and which Madrid Fusión 2011 called the best restaurant in town. The successful restaurant’s menu lists seasonal dishes that have earned awards and recognitions, as its tomato textures in summer or its truffle dishes in winter. Not to be missed is the duck burger with green mustard ice cream, just one of the many “must” dishes. You can also sample the “Nací en el Mediterráneo” (I was born in the Mediterranean) menu of rices, designed to eat light, fast and affordably on weekdays. It is ideal for business lunches. On Sundays you can enjoy the perfect brunch from 12:30-4:00 pm.
