Activities
Li River Cruise
Cruise down the famed Li River, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Depart the hotel at 8am and board the boat at 9am. Bring a lunchbox from the hotel or eat from the boat’s buffet. The cruise ends at 1pm in the town of Yangshuo, where you can shop to your heart’s content.
Yulong River Bamboo Raft
A private gondolier will guide your two-seat bamboo raft down the tranquil Yulong River, which is surrounded by mountains every bit as scenic as those of the Li River. The ride lasts about 90 minutes and you may go at any time before sunset.
Biking
With 1350 private acres to explore, HOMA and Yuzi Paradise boast beautiful grounds for biking. All HOMA guests enjoy complimentary use of a bicycle. Guests may also head to Yangshuo to bike through the surrounding countryside.
Rock Climbing
The Guilin-Yangshuo area is China’s rock climbing capital. HOMA’s own Yuzi Mountain features two basic courses designed by international coaches. Trips to the more challenging crags of Yangshuo may also be arranged on request.
Village visit
Guests may visit a local village and school just outside the hotel grounds, getting an authentic taste of real China.
