It is an ideal holiday base for golf enthusiasts, sport and nature lovers, or for those who simply want to relax.
With miles of sandy beaches, the coast here has become known throughout the world as a unique surfing destination. Further activities include river rafting, fishing, sailing, windsurfing, tennis, horse riding or walking in the Pyrénées. There are 11 superb golf courses in close proximity offering a variety of challenges. A Golf Pass is available for five of the courses, and tee-off times can be arranged during your stay. The nearest ski resort is just over an hour away from the property, and the region is also known for its spas, specializing in health and beauty treatments. There are five spa therapy centres within a 15 minute drive. Built in the style of a traditional Basque farmhouse, it is tastefully decorated with oak ceiling beams and doors, and Spanish terracotta floor tiles. Large windows and sliding doors give lots of natural light all day and open to terraces and the garden with swimming pool (17 x 6m). Entry to the property is by electric security gates, and there is also a new helipad area. Each of the 8 bedrooms has its own special character and all have en-suite facilities, satellite telephone and television. Several can be made up as either twin or double beds. Further amenities include a DVD player with some films, a CD player, a selection of games, a fax and fast internet connection. A buffet dinner awaits you on arrival and there is a breakfast service every day, as well as afternoon tea or fresh drinks around the pool, and a selection of canapés with pre-dinner drinks.
