Situated on Queenstown hill, just 800 metres from the town centre, offering spectacular views of the lake and township from every room.

The Lodge is decorated in elegant furnishings, antiques and a display of fine art adorns the walls. The Lodge was built in 1986 of the finest materials and is a place to relax and enjoy the many things that Queenstown has to offer in winter or summer. We are only 800 metres to town centre.

Our Rooms

Balmoral Lodge was built with comfort in mind and to provide the most spectacular views you will find at any B&B in Queenstown.

Each room has King/Twin or Queen beds and is furnished with fine linens, plenty of pillows and large comfortable arm chairs.

Coffee and tea making facilities, TV and fridge. Internet access available.

Spacious ensuite bathrooms with shower over bath. Some rooms have spa baths. Toiletries and bathrobes are provided and fresh flowers, picked from our magnificent rose garden, fragrant the rooms.

Every room has magnificent views overlooking the township, lake and mountains from the picture postcard windows.

The Honeymoon Suites

These are very spacious suites offering king bedroom with all the trimings for that very special time.

The luxury Honeymoon Suite (one) has a Double Spa Bath in the ensuite with comanding views from the room, and even the ensuite has views over the lake. Room contains a DVD player

The Luxury Honeymoon Suite (two) has a Hydrotheraphy Spa Bath in the ensuite with a seperate lounge with stunning panoramic lake and mountain views. Room contains a DVD player aswell as SKY Tv.

The Honeymoon Suites must be prebooked.

Breakfast

Each morning a healthy, hearty breakfast is served in the Dining Room. Fresh fruits, homemade museli cereals, fresh orange juice and yoghurt also a full cooked breakfast of bacon & eggs & tomatoes, tea or freshly brewed coffee.

Breakfast is available between 8-9am but is also available for those early departures for Milford Sound and other trips on request – as early as 6.30am. We are very relaxed and want you to enjoy your holiday.

The Family Suite opens onto a private lawn and rose gardens.
