suites & rooms
Simple and redolent of the past, the Rooms and Suites feature traditional wooden screens and bamboo blinds, creating a mysterious sense of peeking through the veil of time to the romance of another era.

There are eight Guestrooms and ten Courtyard Guestrooms, most of which feature king-size four-poster beds and Ming Dynasty-styled armoires.
suites
The 25 spacious Suites also feature furniture pieces inspired by the Ming Dynasty, and while some have a combined bedroom and living area, others have separate bedrooms, and all feature king-size beds, daybeds, reading chairs and writing desks. The cool, roomy bathrooms feature island bathtubs and have separate shower and toilet areas. Adjacent to each bathroom is a dressing room that features two large Ming-styled wardrobes. There are seven Courtyard Suites which are identical in design to the Suites, but more spacious.
imperial suite
The Imperial Suite comprises three separate dwellings; the private dwelling, the living/study dwelling and the formal dwelling. The private dwelling is the dominant structure within The Imperial Suite and is made up of a living area, a private dining area and a spa treatment room set around a private courtyard. Adjacent to the reception room, which can also be used for private dining, is the lounge area that comprises a series of drum stools, a “Tah” bench and a coffee table. The bathroom has a bathtub and two split areas with a dressing area in between. Each area contains a shower, toilet and dresser. The living/study dwelling is located along the western side of the private courtyard. The formal dwelling is a boardroom style meeting room, with seating for eighteen people. This can also be used for private meals.

The Spa at Aman at Summer Palace introduces a tranquil retreat of indulgence, rejuvenation and multi-sensory respite for the Aman guest. Nine self-contained double treatment suites offer moments of blissful relaxation to restore balance and harmony of mind and body. Each Spa Suite is fully-equipped with two vanities, bathtub, a large shower and steam room and a massage room.
Enjoy a state-of-the-art fitness facility featuring Technogym equipment, a dedicated Pilates and yoga studio, and fitness consultants for personalised training. An on-site juice bar offers freshly-squeezed juices and refreshing smoothies post-workout. Practice your swing in one of two squash courts or relax by the 25-metre indoor lap pool graced by a wide deck with reclining daybeds.
Guests may partake in celebrated stylist Kim Robinson’s gracious hair studio which signals the expansion of his innovative hair styling concepts and impeccable sense of service to a Beijing audience. This tranquil setting of five private salon suites is connected to the resort’s spa treatment area. Each of these spaces is a sanctuary attended by a stylist dedicated to providing a high degree of personal attention for each guest.
