Emirates Expands Global Network with New Routes and Increased Services

Dubai, UAE – Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, is poised to expand its global network with a series of new routes and enhanced services set to launch in the coming months. These strategic developments further solidify Emirates’ commitment to providing unparalleled connectivity for travellers around the world.

Australia:

  • Brisbane: Starting 1 October 2024, Emirates will upgrade its second daily flight EK430/EK431 between Dubai and Brisbane to an A380, enhancing capacity and comfort on this popular route.
  • Adelaide: From 28 October 2024, Emirates will relaunch its daily service between Dubai and Adelaide, utilising a Boeing 777-200LR aircraft featuring 38 Business Class seats and 264 Economy Class seats.
  • Perth: Beginning 1 December 2024, a second daily service between Dubai and Perth will be introduced, operated by the Emirates Boeing 777-300ER.

Africa:

  • Madagascar: Emirates will introduce flights to Madagascar on 3 September 2024, with four-weekly services between Dubai and Antananarivo. This new route will be linked with the Seychelles and operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, offering enhanced travel options for both leisure and business travellers.

Nigeria:

  • Lagos: Resuming on 1 October 2024, Emirates will reintroduce its daily service between Dubai and Lagos, ensuring seamless connectivity for travellers between the two major cities.

Europe:

  • Edinburgh: Emirates will return to Edinburgh from 4 November 2024. Initially serviced by a Boeing 777-200, Edinburgh will become the first destination to be operated by Emirates’ new A350-900 aircraft from 1 December 2024, offering a state-of-the-art travel experience.
