Hellesylt, Norway

One of the highlights of the fjordlands, this small village of Hellesylt sits quietly at the head of the beautiful Synnylvsfjord. Near the village, you will find the gorgeous Hellesylt Waterfall that plunges over the granite face of the fjord, cascading in thousands of feet of rainbows and foam.

This is such a majestic area, with breath-taking glaciers and mountain lakes, inspired Henrik Ibsen’s drama Brand. Hellesylt is also considered as a starting point for trips to Geiranger, another one of Norway’s most beautiful fjord.
