The Falklands, consisting of over 700 islands, boast some of the world’s most stunning landscapes and are a natural paradise for a diverse range of wildlife. The surrounding pristine waters provide a habitat for flourishing populations of seals and whales, while the rugged coastline is home to several rare and endemic bird species. These islands are a crucial breeding ground for a multitude of seabirds, including the black-browed albatross, rockhopper penguin, and king penguin. We’ll also be on the lookout for the native flightless steamer duck, which is one of the few species of flightless duck in existence.
