El Cafayate

Cafayate, the capital of Salta province in northwest Argentina, is primarily known for its natural attractions — the valley of the Las Conchas River and the Cuebra de Caafayate Gorge. It lies in the Calchaqui Valleys, an area known for its reddish rock formations. The region is also famous for its vineyards and is quite popular with fans of hiking and biking tours, mountaineering and horse riding.
