Crystal Cruises’ fall Canada/New England season will begin and end in French Canada’s picturesque Québec City.
And, to make the Crystal Serenity cruises even more appealing, Crystal will be offering complimentary transfers to/from Québec and Montréal on embarkation and debarkation days to further expand guests’ flight and sightseeing options.
Starting 19 September 2014, Crystal will offer one 7-day and four 10-day voyages that visit some of the most beautiful and fascinating sites on North America’s eastern coastline. Depending on the departure, destinations include the tranquilly-isolated Magdalen Islands; historic Boston; quaint Bar Harbor, Maine; fast-paced New York City; millionaires’ getaway Newport, Rhode Island; a maiden call in Sydney, Nova Scotia; a rare visit to top-ranked small city, Portland, ME; and more.
All Crystal Canada/New England cruises include an overnight in Québec City, renowned for its rich blend of northeastern beauty and European style and culture. Ten-day voyages also include overnights in the other city of embarkation or debarkation (i.e., Boston or New York).
Other Canada/New England ports planned for the fall include Baie-Comeau, Sept-Îles, and Havre-Saint-Pierre, P.Q.; Saint John, New Brunswick; Halifax, Nova Scotia; and Saint-Pierre & Miquelon, France (the last remnant of the former “New France” colonies), with cruising along the Gulf of St. Lawrence and Cabot Strait.
“For North Americans, Crystal’s New England/Canada itineraries provide an easy getaway on the most highly rated mid-sized luxury ship in the world," says Thomas Mazloum, Crystal’s executive vice president. “For international guests, these voyages offer an ideal way to learn about early American history and explore the diversity of the continent’s northeast, with logistical convenience and ultra-luxury, as well.”
Crystal’s cruises are “All Inclusive” and comprise gratuities, fine wines, premium spirits, dining in the ship’s specialty restaurants from the likes of master chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and a wealth of onboard entertainment and enrichment.
