Oceania

Oceania Cruises was formed in 2002 by cruise industry veterans Joe Watters and Frank Del Rio. Best in class cuisine, destination oriented itineraries, and outstanding value define Oceania Cruises’ five-star product and position the company as the cruise line of choice for traditional premium and luxury category cruisers. There are three intimate and luxurious 684 passenger ships, Regatta, Insignia & Nautica. The itineraries have been tailored to include many overnight port stays to allow passengers to immerse themselves in the history, culture and local flavor of the region. The caring and professionally trained European staff anticipates your every whim, your every desire. And with a cadre of more than one staff member for each stateroom, you can be assured of exceptional service throughout your voyage. Aboard Regatta and Insignia, you will be surrounded by elegance and a level of sophistication reminiscent of an upscale, private country club – yours to enjoy in a relaxed, comfortable and unpretentious manner that is never stuffy and void of formality. Enjoy the good life on your terms, leave the tuxedos and evening gowns at home and have a great time.

Cuisine from Celebrity Restauranteurs

Oceania Cruises’ superb, 5-star menus are crafted under the meticulous, watchful eye of Executive Culinary Director, world-renowned master chef Jacques Pépin. The resulting epicurean delights, all carefully prepared with only the finest, freshest ingredients, surpass every expectation. Roasted Quail stuffed with Black Truffle Mousseline. Perfectly grilled Ahi Tuna garnished with Tomato Chutney. A hearty Black Angus Sirloin Steak Provenéale. These are but a taste of Oceania Cruises extensive culinary creations. To complement their gastronomic masterpieces, Oceania Cruises wine cellars hold a vast collection of vintages from around the world that even the most discerning oenophiles will appreciate. It’s no surprise that dinner is always a highly anticipated occasion, an event that stirs the emotions and tantalizes the palate. Oceania Cruises open-seating policy allows you the freedom to dine when, where and with whom you wish. In the evening, you may dine at any of four exquisite restaurants, each one unique and radiating its own special ambiance.

Grand Dining Room

Topped with a dramatic, domed ceiling that is adorned with a hand-painted fresco, the Grand Dining Room is reminiscent of a classic European, 5-star hotel restaurant. The tuxedo-clad wait staff serves six courses of American-inspired Continental cuisine atop elegantly appointed tables set with Villeroy & Boch China and European crystal. To complement your dining experience, soothing melodies from a classical string quartet or concert pianist tempt you to take a spin around the dance floor.

POLO GRILL

The finest cuts of dry-aged prime beef, chops and fresh seafood are the signature items of Polo Grill. Seating just 96 guests, this classic steakhouse features floor-to-ceiling windows affording views of passing seascapes and is warmly decorated with dark woods and elegant furnishings.

TOSCANA

Enjoy the romantic, whimsical ambiance of this intimate, 90-seat restaurant that captures the flair and essence of Tuscany. The savory gourmet cuisine reflects the very best of Italy in dishes representative of its many regions. Nearly every table is adjacent to floor-to-ceiling windows for soaring views of sea and sky.

TERRACE CAFE

It’s hard to resist the sumptuous, ever changing breakfast and lunch buffets in this light-filled, informal buffet restaurant. You may dine indoors or outdoors since the Caf opens onto both the teak-lined pool deck or aft onto the Terrace, where the tantalizing sea breeze is sure to stir your appetite.

WAVES

For the ultimate in casual poolside dining, try Waves. Serving a mouthwatering array of hand-tossed pizzas, grilled specialties, traditional barbecue fare plus salads & sandwiches, it’s sure to be one of your favorite lunch spots.

WHAT TO WEAR

Recommended onboard clothing is resort or country club casual (smart casual). For evening dining, elegant casual resort wear is suggested. It is requested that jeans, shorts, t-shirts or tennis shoes not be worn at dinner.

Tipping Info

How much you choose to tip is a personal matter and completely at your discretion. For your convenience, a suggested gratuity in recognition of outstanding personal service of US$10.50 per Guest, per day, will automatically be added to your shipboard account. Gratuities are combined in a pool due to the fact that the ship offers multiple open-seating venues and you will likely be served by many different staff members during the course of your stay onboard. An 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage purchases. Naturally, you may increase or decrease gratuities at your sole discretion. Guests occupying a Penthouse, Vista or Owner’s Suite will have an additional US$3.00 gratuity per Guest, per day added in recognition of outstanding Butler Service.

Children

On all Oceania Cruises, children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult over the age of 25. Oceania Cruises do not provide services for the care, entertainment or supervision of children and they reserve the right to limit the number of children on board under the age of 18 years. Oceania Cruises is the world’s top-rated, upper-premium cruise line and offers an unrivalled combination of superb cuisine, elegant accommodations, personalised service and great value. Award-winning itineraries visit more than 300 alluring ports across the globe, offering more overnight visits and extended evening port stays. Oceania’s mid-size ships offer large-ship amenities thus all the indulgences guests could possibly imagine. The ships naturally exude a warm, inviting ambiance that instantly allows guests to be themselves and at ease. They are refreshingly casual and friendly, similar to a private country club of like-minded members where everyone knows everyone’s name, but without any pretension or the need for tuxedos and evening gowns. The moment guests step onboard, they know – this is no ordinary cruise experience.
